Accessible to all (members of the university community and the general public), the INSA Rennes library offers documentation and documentary training in the sciences and engineering techniques, as well as in the economic, social and cultural fields. It is also involved in cultural programming.

Media center
The media center is made up of 8 rooms with around a hundred self-service workstations and a video-conference room.
- self-service workstations connected to computer networks and accessing numerous hardware and software resources;
- rooms equipped for tutorials and practical work;
- complete video-conferencing systems used for distance learning courses, work meetings, etc. ;
- a conference room equipped with a video projection system;
- 2 Wi-Fi hotspots.
Opening hours
The media center is open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to midnight.
Outside of these hours, it is placed under video surveillance and access is controlled by a multi-service card system.

You can come and record many different formats: thesis presentation, illustration of a lesson concept (practical work, natural phenomenon, etc.), live transmission, podcast, commented slide show, presentation video for an event and many others.
The video studio has a wide range of professional equipment:
