INSA Rennes is a public service establishment for higher education and research. Our institute is one of the three founding members of the INSA Group, and we participate in the structuring of the Rennes scientific site, with the University of Rennes. As a major public engineering school, our vocation is to train the engineers of tomorrow, destined to work in a constantly evolving society, at the heart of innovative and creative companies.
In the world of 2024, we aspire to contribute to human progress by developing sustainable and responsible engineering based on scientific research and technological developments. To do this, we use the means of training and innovation in order to disseminate the results within companies and society.
Aware that technological progression has until now taken place without real consideration for the environment and without benefiting all individuals, our ambition is to usher in a new era for engineering. We wish to develop and offer sustainable and responsible engineering contributing to sustainable human progress. We must be part of the solution and not the problem, and work so that innovation is no longer reduced to a simple economic or technological quest, but that it also becomes a societal quest. Our objective is therefore to contribute to collective well-being, the sustainability of progress and equity within society.
