INSA Rennes invests in structuring projects on an international scale

The research teams at INSA Rennes are fully committed to developing research on the European and International scene.

    To achieve this, our researchers work in close collaboration with other research staff from various international institutions, and benefit from European support in the development of their research projects.

     

    The NOE Bretagne network - Network of excellence

    INSA Rennes is a member of the NOE Bretagne network. The NOE Bretagne network brings together operators working in the field of developing and supporting European research and innovation projects in Brittany.


    The 3 main objectives of the NOE network:

    • Improve legibility, visibility and support capacity, pool resources and share best practices
      and share best practices, in the context of a new regional organization
    • Consolidate the regional observatory of European research & innovation projects as part of the implementation of the Intelligent Specialization Strategy (S3)
    • Strengthen Brittany's position in the European research and innovation space, in the context of implementing the S3 and developing Horizon Europe (research and innovation program for 2021-2027).

    Support for European projects at INSA Rennes

    INSA Rennes participates in scientific projects co-financed by the European Union through various funding programs. Other local authorities (departmental councils, urban communities, etc.) may also contribute to the funding of projects that concern them.

     

    2PE


    The Plateforme projets européens (2PE ) - Bretagne is a region-wide engineering service for European research, innovation and training projects. Its aim is to develop, support and promote the Breton academic community's participation in European framework programs, in particular those dedicated to research and innovation, Horizon Europe, and lifelong learning, Erasmus +.

    At the service of the region's (teacher-)researchers and their projects, the 2PE works in close proximity with research units and components, and in close contact with the departments of their various supervisory bodies via its network of referents.

    It offers the following services:

    • information, training and personalized advice on European funding opportunities - for the entire academic community;  
    • personalized support throughout the development of their projects - for project leaders from schools that have signed the 2PE partnership agreement.

    The 2PE team is organized according to priority areas of intervention, and is regularly regularly on call at the region's university campuses.
