The INSA Rennes psychologist coordinates the reception and support of INSA students with disabilities.

Educational arrangements 

  • note takers for classes and exams;
  • French Sign Language (LSF) interpreters;
  • setting up third time for exams;
  • support courses, study arrangements or educational contract if necessary.

Adaptation of premises

  • building 1: access ramp and elevator;
  • accommodation: adapted bathrooms in 2 studios and 1 bedroom equipped with home automation;
  • multimedia center features: adjustable height table, large screen on articulated arm, armchair on casters;
  • illuminated fire alarms.

Support for businesses

  • partnership with the @talentEgal association (5 major schools and 3 companies: Alcatel-Lucent, Areva, Safran): tutoring, training, adaptation of workstations in companies, job and internship offers;
  • partnership with the disability mission of CGI, a Canadian ICT services group: scholarships, tutoring, internship offers.

Raising awareness among INSA students
Tutoring high school students with disabilities

  • handitutorat course of the Sopra group: rained in disability management by company executives, student tutors coach high school students with disabilities during a school year (support courses in mathematics, physics or English, advice and work methodology);
  • partnership with the Beaulieu medical & educational center: academic support courses by INSA students;
  • handimanagement course designed and led remotely by Companieros in the form of a learning community, to obtain the Handimanager Label.
