OPERA: Orienter et Promouvoir l'Excellence et la Réussite par l'Accompagnement (Guide and Promote Excellence and
Success through Support)

insa-opera

INSA Rennes is involved in the OPERA system which supports high school students from modest backgrounds with high potential to encourage them to pursue higher education.
Certified « Cordée de la réussite » ("link to success") by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, OPERA brings together 7 higher education establishments and 5 Breton high schools.

Each year, around a hundred 1re and Terminale S students are welcomed to INSA Rennes for workshops. Above: bridge resistance test carried out with INSA students

Passeport Avenir (Passport for the future): promote professional integration

INSA Rennes participates in the national system of the "Passeport Avenir" association in order to support students during their studies and to promote their professional integration. Selected on social criteria, 17 INSA engineering students will benefit this year from individual tutoring by engineers working at Alcatel-Lucent, ATOS Origin, CapGemini, Ericsson, Orange, SFR and SNCF.

Dispositif Réussite (Success System): Supporting success for all

This tutoring system, set up in January 2015 by teachers, allows 1st and 2nd year INSA students encountering difficulties to benefit from individual support from a teacher or teacher-researcher of their choice.
