Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Energy and Automation - accreditation pending 2024
Signal, Vision, Wave, Smart Systems and Energy course (SiVOSSE)
This Master's degree is only available in M2. The first semester is devoted to theoretical teaching and is reserved for a 4-6 month placement in a research laboratory or in industry, facilitated by our strong links with industry. The Master's degree will be awarded by INSA Rennes. The Master's degree can be followed by a PhD.
This Master's degree is available as a double degree to engineering students enrolled in the EII specialisation at INSA Rennes. It is also open to international students from partner universities who are studying at INSA Rennes.
Objectives
The objectives of the Master's programme are to provide students with:
- theoretical and technical skills in signal processing, image processing and artificial intelligence, and the ability to conduct scientific research by training them as research engineers in the public or private sector;
- teacher-researchers or researchers in higher education or in public or private research organisations;
- expert engineers or consulting engineers in fields relating to patents and technology watch;
- project managers in a national and/or international context.

INSA Rennes does not offer the M1 programme and only receives applications for the M2 programme. For entry into M1, you can apply for the SiVOSSE course in the SPIA M1. Admission is decided after examining the applicant's file.
